Organising your files

Knowing how your hard disk or storage device operates and how files
are stored is the first step in understanding how to manage your own
files.

It is important that you fully understand what is happening when you
press the save or delete button.

Organising your files into folders - just like an old fashioned filing
cabinet - helps you find and retrieve your saved work quickly and
easily.

It is also vitally important to know where and how your files are stored
on your equipment for other reasons.

We provide advise about backing up your files and data and
advanced operations to understand more.

The data and files that you have created are only as good as  your
last 'verified' backup. In the event of a virus or disk failure you could
loose all the work you have created.
